Todd Grisham Biography

odd Grisham joined WWE as an announcer on Jan. 14, 2004, bringing his wit, dry humor and enthusiasm to the Raw brand. His tour of duty through WWE television includes hosting the international edition of Bottom Line, co-hosting The WWE Experience with Ivory along with announcing Sunday Night HEAT alongside Jonathan Coachman. He then became the the voice of ECW on Tuesday nights before moving over to SmackDown.

Born in Hattiesburg, Miss. -- home of NFL legend Brett Favre -- Grisham and his family moved around a great deal, but he spent the bulk of his childhood in Bay Minette, Ala. After college, he obtained a job as a sports anchor in Ottumwa, Iowa. In his year and a half there, working at KTVO, Ottumwa's only local affiliate, he did everything -- shooting, editing, even putting on his own makeup.

When he was offered a job in Tucson, Ariz., the No. 70 media market, he jumped at the chance and relocated, becoming the youngest reporter at any station in Tucson. He spent four years as a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor for KOLD, the town's CBS affiliate, primarily covering the Arizona Wildcats. But he also reported on teams from Phoenix, and has covered the Final Four and Game 7 of the World Series. Grisham has also worked with the NFL, NBA, NHL and PGA.

Once managed D'Lo Brown in WWE, before the company fired Brown and replaced him with Rodney Begnaud aka Rodney Mack.

Ricardo Rodriguez - the personal ring announcer of Alberto Del Rio - ushered in the debut of his aristocratic employer on the Aug. 20, 2010 edition of SmackDown.

On Sept. 24, Rodriguez showed that he was not above getting involved in the action, grabbing Christian’s ankle in order to help Del Rio gain the advantage over Captain Charisma.

Matt Striker seemed destined to work for the New York City Board of Education until retirement age. But, while Striker loved the opportunity to reach young people in the classroom, he remained enamored with professional wrestling. So, in his spare time, Striker began to train for the mat with a television mainstay of his childhood: the unpredictable Johnny Rodz, a WWE Hall of Famer who ran a wrestling school out of Gleasons Gym, beneath the Brooklyn Bridge.

Soon, Striker was wrestling for various small promotions while still meeting expenses as a teacher. Filling in for a teacher on maternity leave at a Long Island middle school, Striker noticed one student eying him with curiosity. After a while, Strikers nocturnal profession became a topic of discussion in class. Striker used that to discuss goals and motivate his students. He took that approach with him to Cardozo High School in the fall of 2004.

Then, in December, Striker had a chance to go overseas to wrestle. He called in sick to free up the necessary time. There were no repercussions until he appeared in the Angle Invitational on Raw. In Queens, Strikers students instantly recognized their teacher. It didnt take long for students and teachers to figure out that hed been in Japan when he was supposedly ill. It began a furor that resulted in national media coverage and his forced resignation from his teaching job. The exposure, however, thrust Striker into the national spotlight and launched his WWE career.

Striker has shown solid technique as a member of both ECW and Raw. After proving himself in the ring, he took on a new role behind the mic as ECW on Sci Fis color commentator.

Josh Mathews Biography

Josh Mathews began his career with WWE in 2001, after being a part of MTV’s Tough Enough. Subsequently, he was named as an interviewer for SmackDown, and announcer for Velocity. During his time on SmackDown, Mathews even had the opportunity to get inside the ring, compiling an undefeated (2-0) record to his credit.

Mathews currently hosts a variety of WWE Mobile and WWE.com programming, including Weekly Top 5, Mobile News, the Mobile Channel, along with The WWE Experience and Afterburn, which can be seen in almost 150 countries worldwide. Most recently, Mathews covered the 2008 presidential conventions exclusively for WWE.com.

American professional wrestler Dylan Postl was born on May 29, 1986 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and is better known by his ring name Hornswoggle or Little Bastard. He appears on the ECW brand of World Wresting Entertainment (WWE), where he is employed. There, he became the last Cruiserweight Champion before the belt was decommissioned.

In 2005, Postl appeared with NWA Wisconsin before he appeared on WWE’s SmackDown. While with the NWA, he was called Shortstack or “The World’s Sexiest Midget.” He became, at the time, the inaugural X Division Champion. The next year, he signed with WWE and made his television debut on SmackDown as the leprechaun partner of Irish wrestler Finlay. Postl then began appearing under the ring after matches, and suddenly attacking Finlay’s opponents. It was then that commentator Michael Cole began to refer to him as Little Bastard. He eventually helped Finlay win the United States Championship, tossing him a shillelagh to knock out Lashley and win.

On the WWE Website, Postl’s name was changed to Hornswoggle in 2007, becoming official on the March 2 episode of SmackDown. This was when Postl attacked JBL and Michael Cole. Later that year, Hornswoggle helped Finlay defeat Mr. Kennedy with a senton bomb off a stepladder. This led to the move being called a “Lepreton Bomb.”

During The Great American Bash, Hornswoggle pinned Jamie Noble in a Cruiserweight Open and eventually won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. This made him the lightest, shortest and youngest (21 years, 51 days) wrestler to obtain the title. He continued his career, even getting involved in a storyline on RAW as Mr. McMahon’s illegitimate son. Despite this, he was drafted to the ECW brand with Finlay due to the 2008 WWE Supplemental Draft. Later on, the two of them challenged John Morrison and The Miz for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Unfortunately, Hornswoggle and Finlay didn’t win.

Booker T Biography

Booker Tio Huffman was born on May 1, 1965 in Houston, Texas. In 1987, he was arrested for robbing a Wendy's and served 19 months in prison. With his brother Stevie Ray (Lance Huffman), they made their wrestling debuts in 1989. They wrestled in the Global Wrestling Federation as the Ebony Experience. He is currently married to Sharmell Sullivan, a former WCW Nitro Girl.
Harlem Heat:

Booker T and Stevie Ray made their WCW debut in 1993. Originally, WCW wanted them to be led to the ring by chains by their "owner" Col. Parker. Thankfully, that idea was scrapped and they were known as Harlem Heat. Their original WCW names were Kane & Kole, but they were quickly changed back to Booker T & Stevie Ray. They dominated the tag team scene until 1996 when Booker T became a solo wrestler.
TV Title & The Letter T:

In 1997, Booker T got his first real run as a singles wrestler. In a memorable feud, he won a best of 7 match series with Chris Benoit to win the TV title. At the end of 1998, he suffered a knee injury. When he returned, he regained the tag team title with his brother. They eventually broke up and Big T (Ahmed Johnson) took Booker T's place in the team. They feuded over the letter T.
Misfits in Action:

In 2000, Booker T was renamed GI Bro and joined the Misfits in Action. Then out of nowhere, he became the WCW Champion. That night, Hulk Hogan was to fight Jeff Jarrett, but there were political issues going on and Jarrett laid down for Hogan. Vince Russo cut a scathing promo on Hogan and stripped him of the title. Hogan left WCW and sued over the incident. Later that night, Booker T beat Jeff Jarrett to win the title.
Death of WCW:

In the dying days of WCW, Booker T was one of the few bright spots. He became a main eventer and on the final night of WCW, was crowned World Champion. He then was one of the leaders of the Invasion of the WWE and feuded with the Rock. He would go on to be a 5-time WCW champion before the belt was retired.
All Hail King Booker:

Since entering the WWE in 2001, Booker T has been a star in the WWE. He has always been in the running for a title and has a very impressive title resume. He was in a world title match at WrestleMania 19. In 2006, he burst into the main event scene by winning the King of the Ring. While King, he beat Rey Mysterio at the 2006 Great American Bash to win the World Heavyweight Championship. The highlight of his title reign was when he beat WWE Champion John Cena and ECW Champion Big Show in the Champion of Champions Match.
TNA:

In spring of 2007, Booker was drafted to RAW. After serving a suspension for his involvement with the Signature Pharmacy scandal, both he and his wife were released from the WWE. In the fall of 2007, he made his TNA debut as Sting's mystery partner at TNA:Genesis.
